On The Road To Becoming Chocoholics (2007-01-20)first lot's gone.
This time I got mainly dark chocolates with a slightly lower cocoa
percentage to suit my sweet palate while still trying to appeal to KL's
taste for bitter chocolate. I did get a couple of small Lindt 70%
cocoa bars just for him. I also got a box of Ferrero Rocher for
myself. They are about the only kind of milk chocolate I like.
Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco say
"eating a small, 1.6-ounce bar of dark chocolate every day is good for
you". Dark chocolate contains flavoniods which "keep cholesterol
from gathering in blood vessels, reduce the
risk of blood clots, and slow down the immune responses that lead to
clogged arteries." Yep, sounds like a good enough reason
(er...excuse) to eat chocolate. Cheers to good health!
